Update 2



Greetings Everyone! Sorry for the long wait.


So many of you may be wondering why you haven't heard much from the team recently, and that is a problem we seek to fix ASAP with more frequent Development Diaries. These will be written and worked on by Brett Ingram and Shane Cooper. But who is Brett and Shane?  Well outside of being the Lead Programmer and AI Designer for Little Red Gunner(LRG) Brett is also a Sophomore in college just like everyone else on the Dev Team. Shane is also a Sophomore in college and is primarily working on the more social aspects of development such as social media. There have been three more people to the team bringing the total members up to six!


For the first post in this series there is so much I could discuss but I think it would be best for you all to get to know the team before we start sharing more and more info. We also want to share a little sneak peak of what will be on next week's Dev Diary so make sure to stick through to the end!


Nathaniel Bryant:  Hi, I'm working on this team as well and I usually go by Nate. I am the Lead Narrative Designer,  Lead Art Designer,  Lead Character Designer, Music Composer, and basically all the art things you see here.  Beyond sacrificing an arm and leg to work on this project, I love 2d platformers,  fighting games, RPG's. My favorite games are Street Fighter 3: Third Strike,  Sonic Adventure 2, and Shovel Knight. I hope to show off some of my work and keep you guys updated on all the things I make for you guys!


Parker Greene: Yo, I'm Parker. I have always loved playing games, so why not make them. Characters are special in games, which is why I handle most of the character code for animation and movement mechanics.


Brett Ingram: Hey again! Outside of what I have already covered, I am one of the original three developers of LRG and I am also the President of the Video Game Development Club for my university. As for who I am personally I am an actor for school performances, I go mountain biking with my preference being around Lake Crabtree, and I love to play grand strategy games particularly those made by Paradox Interactive. I look forward to seeing everyone’s feedback and know that we will do our best! 


Austin Edwards: I'm Austin Edwards and I am one of the Programmers and QA who work on Little Red Gunner. I enjoy experiencing different types of role play and strategy games. I have a love for games with developed worlds like Skyrim, Bioshock, and Fallout which let me experience other worlds so figured I should try and make a few of my own. World Building, A.I., and VR are the aspects of game development that I enjoy the most and hope my work on Little Red Gunner will help me further my skills in those areas.


Dominic Monaco: Hello, my name is Dominic and I’m the lead level designer behind this operation. I’ve loved video games for as long as I can remember. I often find myself exploring the environments throughout a game just getting lost in the adventure and not actually following the main path. Some of my favorite games include: The Monster Hunter franchise, Sea of Thieves, Final Fantasy 14. On top of Little Red Gunner I have been working on 3D environments and assets to improve my developer skills. I plan on working as an Environmental artist and level designer in the future and hope the Little Red Gunner helps me achieve that goal.


Shane Cooper: Hey again, My name is Shane and like what is stated earlier in the Dev Diary, I am working mostly in social media aspects of the game. But outside of working on social media and Dev Diaries, I find myself enjoying various different music and video games. Some games that I enjoy are: Pokémon, The Binding of Isaac, and Portal just to name a few. I do enjoy making music as well as voice acting a little. But while being on the team I hope to help build up the social media presence on here and everywhere else.
